Let's talk about fashion and repair 

Viola Wohlgemuth has been a campaigner for resource conservation and the circular economy at Greenpeace for 6 years, campaigning against overconsumption and the toxic effects of the fashion industry, from production in Asia to the mountains of waste in African countries. She is involved in the 'Round Table Repair' network and for the #RightToRepair.

Thimo Schwenzfeier, former show director of the sustainable Neonyt trade fair, is now head of the new Conscious Fashion Store at Potsdamer Platz since 2023. He will talk about his ambitions and experiences with the repair options offered there.

With an uncompromising focus on sustainability in all aspects of her brand, Natascha von Hirschhausen goes beyond the circularity of her products and creates zero-waste solutions. 

And the host for this evening is Stefanie Barz. Co-Founder of repair and upcycling platform loop look and event partner for repair day.

Repairs are crucial to prolong the life of our clothes, reducing textile waste and the industry's negative impact on people and the environment. As part of the Studio2Retail program during Berlin Fashion Week, we will show and discuss how a repair can further refine the quality of a high-quality garment.
